"Landscapes" often get a very bad press but they don't have to be "boring"!

Mine are very "interpretive" concentrating on tonal values and great colour.

One art critic derived the expression "Stylised Realism" relating to my paintings. He said:

"Hulse creates landscapes with such originality and flair, one is forced to sit back and look agan at the nature around us"

So that's pretty good!! I paint landscapes as and when I feel like it but they sell pretty much immediately - best to commission a landscape
